DRAFT FOR LEGAL REVIEW
Terms of sale
1. About Sharper Store purchases
Sharper Sales lists second-hand gaming tech for sale, including consoles, handhelds, controllers, accessories and bundles. Product pages should describe the actual item being sold, including condition notes, included items, photos, price and UK delivery charges.
2. Product condition
Items may be pre-owned, refurbished, open-box or unused second-hand stock. The product page should state the practical condition clearly. Photos and condition notes are part of the listing.
3. UK delivery only
Sharper Sales currently accepts UK delivery addresses only. Delivery options, courier names, dispatch cut-off times, tracking details and delivery costs must be finalised before public launch.
4. Payment
Live checkout is intended to be handled securely by Stripe. Orders are not accepted as paid until payment is confirmed. Local testing may create test orders without taking payment.
5. 30-day Sharper warranty and no-fault returns
For launch, eligible store purchases include 30 days of Sharper cover from delivery. This is intended to include fault support and no-fault returns if a customer changes their mind. The final public terms must state return condition requirements, return postage responsibility, refund timing and exclusions.
6. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms should reduce statutory rights that cannot legally be limited, including consumer rights for goods bought online in the UK.
7. Trade-ins coming soon
Console trade-ins are currently paused for launch. Any online trade-in prices or catalogue pages are provisional future functionality and are not live purchase offers until trade-ins are deliberately opened.
8. Accounts and guest checkout
Customers may check out as a guest or create a Sharper account for saved purchase history. Guest order lookup requires the order reference and checkout email or private order link.
9. Liability, complaints and disputes
Complaint contact details, return address, business details and any alternative dispute-resolution information must be completed before launch.
10. Governing law
The applicable UK jurisdiction and registered business details must be inserted following legal review.
